Ableton released a new mobile app for iOS called Note. As the name suggests, the app will allow sketch and form your music ideas easily and everywhere. It can be helpful during the start of your new project and for finding new music ideas. In the app, you can use drum kits, instruments, and synths that you can know from the desktop’s Ableton Live DAW. You can also record sounds around you with the microphone on your mobile phone and use them in Note’s sampler. The app has an easy and straightforward user interface and workflow so that nothing will be disturbing your creativity and looking for new ideas.
If you want to work on your music ideas further, you can send your Note Set to the desktop Ableton Live through Ableton Cloud and work on your project on the computer. There you can edit MIDI notes, all samples, and sounds that you were working on in your Note app.
App Note is available on the Apple App Store for just $5.99.
